Lesson 4: SIRS DISCOVERER
This 4th lesson is so exciting. I'm going to be doing a magazine/newspaper scavenger hunt with the 6th grade class and it will be so interesting to have them compare this database with the hard copies in the library.
In the database features I found the new nonfiction books interesting and you have the option to print them.
I found the information on Discoverer interersting and will look into the Reasearcher for sure. Just out of time so will be posting more later when I get time to finish up this lesson.

Wonderful comments about SIRS Discoverer. How did your 6th graders like the comparison with hard copy magazines? The non-fiction ebooks are great on ipads--they can be placed in iBooks and are really great to read.
